Encuentros Leadership is a nationally recognized, award winning response to reversing the underachievement of Latino males.

To empower Latino leaders through education.
What we do
Encuentros Leadership has developed several programs aimed at developing a culturally affirming environment for students and their families. Using culturally responsive pedagogy, we cultivate in our students a college completing mentality and emphasize the importance of advocating for social justice and equity in education and society.
Summer Academies
Our Academy model is a week-long residential program for high school Latino men on a college campus.
Career Expo Conferences
Our Conferences offer middle school Latino boys an opportunity to explore various careers.
Encuentros Leadership Class
Our middle school class offers a culturally responsive course and curriculum that is also A-G compliant.
Platicas: Hombre a hombre
Our 6-week father-son workshop series helps families explore their family histories and build bonds.
